8. I agree
If they meant a setback would they have not used "A blow for Bush" as headline?

What do they mean

(A)Bush related fellatio?

(B)Bush related cocaine use?

9. According to the website
this is not the cover.

And also, go & look at the poll...his numbers have hardly changed!

You can tell the Americans this guy is a serial killer, & his ratings don't change.

According to the poll, Clarke has been hurt more than Bush.

15. Which poll are you seeing?
Edited on Sat Mar-27-04 09:53 PM by 54anickel
7900+ reponses. Oh, wait I see. The newsweek reponses are very different from the web responses. Here's a partial snip.

Do you think that President Bush and his administration have taken the threat of global terrorism as seriously as they should have or have they not taken the threat seriously enough? * 7973 web responses

Have not taken seriously enough web 78% newsweek 34%

Do you think that former president Clinton and his administration took the threat of global terrorism as seriously as they should have or did they not take the threat seriously enough? * 7977 web responses

Did take seriously web 65% newsweek 26%

Given what each administration knew at the time, do you think the Bush administration is more to blame for not preventing the September 11 attacks or is the Clinton administration more to blame, or are both equally to blame? * 7986 web responses

Bush administration web 70% newsweek 17%
Clinton administration web 11% newsweek 24%
Both equally web 14% newsweek 43%

Has what Clarke said about Bush made you feel more favorably toward Bush or less favorably toward Bush, or hasn't it made much difference either way? * 7980 web responses (web vs. newsweek)

More favorable 7% 10%
Less favorable 78% 17%
Not much different either way 15% 65%
Don't know 0% 8%

We knew it would be a bad week for Bush, but even cynical Jen is blown away by the Napalm they've used to attack and combat the real, honest issues.

22. never ceases to amaze me...with all the bushies money....none
of them bothered to get their teeth fixed....

bush*, cheney, rice....all have horrible looking teeth that could easily be fixed by a good dentist....(although some recent photos show condi trying to get her gap fixed, but with all her money and high level, high profile positions with Chevron oil, and Stanford University....she should have done that a LONG LONG time ago)....

The record of his dental appointment was just about the only "proof" offered to demonstrate that he ever actually showed up at his duty station in Alabama.

20. this guy is a serial killer
"You can tell the Americans this guy is a serial killer, & his ratings don't change."

He has killed way more "civilians" than Al Q.

In my view he IS a Seriel Killer.

It doesn't matter to his Cult of Fundies. Kill all Muslims is their goal.

40. Trick question? No jive!
"Has what Clarke said about Bush made you feel more favorably toward Bush or less favorably toward Bush, or hasn't it made much difference either way?"

The only way that I could have had a lower opinion of Bush already would be if he molested a troupe of girl scouts. When I heard about the surreal scene in the White House on 9-12-01, all I could think of was "well, I - for one - am not in the least surprised". The man holds such proto-humanoid views on every issue I can think of: the environment, civil rights, the economy, international relations, etc. ad nausea um, he makes me nostalgic for Nixon. At least Tricky Dick didn't establish a keptocracy for his old buddies.

Aaarrrghhhh!!

31. Anyone else find the use of the word "BLOW" kinda funny?
I mean "blow" as in coke, for Chimpy McCokespoon.

Or "blow" as in a "blowjob" for Clinton, but a "Blow" for Bush.

There's also the connotation of "blowback".

I like it.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this headline, and the picture looks like he's just walked in after sucking up a couple of lines.

I know there's more to this cover than meets the eye. Everyone hates this bastard.
