The Bush defense is reduced to this... |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 12:43 AM by TruthIsAll
Is Bush incompetent because he a) ignored pre 9/11 warnings of al Qaeda using airplanes as missiles from Hart and Rudman and O'Neil and Clarke and Clinton and Berger and Gore and Israel and Russia and Egypt and Germany and Canada and FBI field officers Rowley and Williams or b) did he just go along with the adults in charge (Rumsfeld/Cheney/Perle/Wolfowitz) to implement the PNAC agenda and allow another Pearl Harbor to happen on purpose because they needed a War with Iraq in order to implement the Cheney Energy Plan to colonize Iraq for Exxon and Halliburton and Carlyle and to build those pipelines for Enron?
The answer must be a) because believing b) is unthinkable. It would mean that he would sacrifice American lives for corporate cronies while removing the imminent threat to his reselection. And there is nothing in BushCo's history which indicates that Bush would let corporations dictate his policy.
Yes, Bush is incompetent. And on 9/11 he suddenly achieved greatness because of his incompetence. He protected childrens' lives by sitting at the Booker School. He stood in the WTC rubble with his arm around a NYC fireman and blared into the bullhorn. That made him great. And his performance as a respected world leader in leading the coalition of the willing to a clear victory in Iraq cemented his greatness. The outing of Plame just proves that no one can get away with scurillous attacks, whether it's Joe Wilson, Paul O'Neil or Richard Clarke or any of those other pinko diplomats who resigned because of their disgust with Bush.
He is the best incompetent President ever and richly deserves Diebold's votes in November.

One small point, the pipeline in Iraq is really for Israel. The Iraq War was for Israel's security and Israel's security depends upon being able to access their oil that god put under Iraq.

JINSA, anyone?
you know that it all springs from Wolfowitz's tenure there, and the paper he wrote for them, which he cobbled over when working for Cheney, which was leaked, then sanitized by Cheney.
that was the fundament for PNAC, IIRC
we're just, in effect, gullible Hessians for Israel
did I get that right?
and I'm NOT anti-Israel.....they're just WAY too smart for these idiots

4. People here are only beginning to see the incompetence. |
|
They can't fathom "(b) the unthinkable", because they believe the mindset of all those ridiculous Jesus-sporting urban legends about him. But I"m seeing signs that people are coming around to his ineptitude. The best defense I've seen offered for Shrub in LTTE is a meek offense against Kerry about "unknowns" and "he'll raise your taxes".
I think 9-11 was worse than they thought it would be. That is an indication of their incompetence. But I also believe in LIHOP. I think they knew something bigger than a single assault was possible, even likely, and they decided not to stand in the way of it unless it was extremely apparent to the rest of the US that it was happening, and then they'd be forced to take action.
Thanks for your post!

5. My wife and I have been talking about this. It's a good defense for |

Bush. People will accept that he is incompetent. He has the lowest standard to achieve than anyone in history.
That's why he won't be harmed in any debates. If he is still standing when the credits roll, he wins. If he doesn't blow up right in front of the cameras, he can say the stupidest things, and he still wins.
People will fully accept that he was stupid enough to blow it, and they will still vote for him. They know he's stupid, they like him for kicking ass, even if it's the wrong ass.
