To what extremes would Bush go to maintain power? |
|
Would he invade Syria? Or Iran? Put on you tinfoil hat. Would he manage another "anthrax" type attack on our country? Would he declare martial law? Would he threaten to shut down the press or media that disagrees with him? To what extreme do you think this maniac would go to maintain his power at the White House?

Bush and his neo-con and christian extremist pals feel they are above morality and law. By any means and at any costs to maintain power.
They hate us all becuase we are not like them.

He just has a few loose ends to tie up, then he is more than ready to hand over the reigns to Kerry.

...the NeoCons have too much riding on maintaining control of the centers of economic, military, and political power.
I would like to know whether or not the guy with the nuclear codes is still following Junior wherever he goes. If not, who is that guy following? When Al Haig took over as Nixon's Chief of Staff, the guy with the nuclear codes disappeared from the White House until Ford was sworn in.

People do not have to worry about the extreme theories. Look at reality: they are able to ride out even an 8-year break, such as the Clinton administration. They know how to compromise the system, in order to make it non-functionable, for a period of time. The push can only come to shove when there is the potential of the congress (both the House & Senate) turn against the power elite. It is safe to say that the puppeteers are prepared for four years or Kerry, before they are able to put another puppet in office.

14. I wrote a letter to every paper I could think of |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 03:37 PM by Kimber Scott
back when the war started and called Bush a "Kamikaze President." I couldn't believe anyone would be so blatantly arrogant and dishonest and still expect to be elected. (I didn't say "re-elected" because everytime I use that term somebody reminds me he was never elected in the first place.) Anyway, nobody printed the letter, that I know of.
Do I still think that way? No. He's trying too hard to cover his tracks and "rewrite history" as they like to say.
What will he do to stay in power? If he tries any of those things listed, I think he will be carried off in a white coat. The truth is out. The game is up. He's standing in quicksand and the more he flails around the deeper he sinks. Bye, bye Bushboy.

5. He won't even go so far as to pull his head out of his a** |
|
as can be seen by his hilarious press club presentation (Big Dog was funnier doing laundry)
But his handlers will stop at nothing (i.e. disenfranchisement, extortion, assassination)
Fortunately, they are the gang that couldn't shoot straight, which is good for the target, but quite unfortunate for the innocent bystanders.

The other night, after the Unity Dinner was over, I noticed Kerry had what I assumed to be Secret Service surrounding him and it made me wonder what would happen if something happened to him. What would we do? What's the protocol?

I wonder why Kerry is supposedly having surgery on Monday and will be out of the limelight for the week.
on edit; Do you have a link to a story or pictures of Kerry being flanked by secret service?

We'll see if I get an answer. I'm assuming if something horrible like that did happen, the VP nominee would step up. But, when I was pondering all of the horrible things that could be done by the Bush gang to throw this election, that popped in my head.

You forgot make sure enough places have computerized voting machines owned by a company with strong ties to the Republican party to rig the election. It's not "if" we win. We will get enough votes to win. Whether they are able to be properly counted this time is the question.

I've been having visions of the few weeks leading up to the election and suddenly, while watching my favorite tv show, the announcer says: "We're sorry to interrupt - the President of the United States has a announcement - Please stand by for this special message." At that point everything will be dark and scary, because no one predicted this event winning it for Bush. Of course it's all been arranged and agreed to, with NANCY. She makes the decision to pull the plug on the brain dead, shriveled corpse, formally known as President Ronnie Raygun. Yes folks, first she gave her left tit for the country (an operation that was totally unnecessary), now she gives up Ronnie. What a patriot! The repubs get to have a second tv spectacular and the sympathy of the other brain dead of the country easily swings the election to Bush. It's all so simple ....

21. I vaguely remember hearing that during the 2000 recount |
|
that the b* team (poppy, james baker III etc.) had a back-up plan in place that they would implement in case the recount effort went in Gore's favor. I think it involved street riots or court proceedings but I am only going on some memories of that time. Anyone else remember hearing something to that effect?
