My email to CNN about their non-coverage of the horrid events
Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 08:31 PM by Cleita
of today in Fallujah.

"You guys finally did it! I am never watching CNN again.

"Instead of reporting on the ghastly events in Fallujah, the murders and desecration of the bodies of Americans, you spent the whole day with the distraction of Audrey Sellers being found alive. This story was worthy of only five minutes per hour coverage and yet you hovered over a dog running around in an industrial park for hours.

"Instead of getting the White House and those responsible for this massacre to answer about why this happened, you gave the most evil administration in the history of this nation a pass.

"Why? Because you and your channel are no better than Josef Goebbles, the propaganda minister of the Third Reich."

So if you don't see me around here anymore, it's possible because I got that knock on the door in the middle of the night.

16. I'm watching CBS right now.
They are blurring some images, but they are showing the anger of the crowd. Bush and idiot company must be held responsible for this.

4. No, but, they still pretend to be the Cadillac news channel.
They are nothing but a PNAC front like the rest of them.

8. Great.
I hope others do to. They can't be allowed to get away with this dereliction of journalistic duty and integrity.

9. we don't have cable
Fourth of July Over Baghdad 1.0 was a factor in deciding that cable was worthless.

You will be happier without CNN and better informed.

11. I consider myself better informed because of DU.
Lately, CNN was almost reporting stuff like the Clarke/911 debacle. It was like they really were going to do the right thing, but today it was like my local channels, who will spend the whole news half hour on a police car chase. This was no different. They even spent the Crossfire half hour watching the dog.

12. And, if only you'd know you could have mentioned "Private Mercenary
Armies" like "Blackwater, USA" who were killed. They aren't our US Military they are "hired guns" who train on 6,000 acres in a secret camp in NC....but NO! American folks wouldn't want to know that. They think it's just their sons and daughters over there trying to work for the American Flag not for "profit" not being trained in camps in the US where they make more money and have better equipment.

We have TWO Armies in America. The Private and the Tax Supported, but in the end our "Tax Dollars" support both.

But, one is accountable and one isn't. And, I remember when I first read "Diary of Ann Frank" and I think about that alot lately. When will one of these armies come to get me? Will it be the Private One or the One that supposedly answers to our "do nothing" Congress?

Which one will take me to the train or bus or cattle car to the "camps."

14. This is disturbing.
There should be no private armies on American soil. This is what happened in Germany and why the Nazi's could intimidate and rise to power.

Your e-mail was much nastier than mine, well done! What with Kira Philips (sp), snide Schneider & that bitch Crowley....I don't think I'll be watching CNN much longer.

18. Maybe it was nasty, but those who died today because of
decisions our King George the Stupid made on our behalf, and in our name as Americans, spent the last moments of their lives in a situation that was way beyond nasty. I think turning this off by media outlets, who have an obligation to expose these things, is irresponsible and enabling, to say the very least.

The media has an obligation to make George Bush accountable for these atrocities.
