Faluja's police chief says.... |
|
according to an NPR piece today...
"we (the Faluja Police Department) need more weapons, more vehicles, more everything, helicopters, you name it... to protect this city... you see things happen even in New York City."
Now, first of all, I cannot remember when US troops were killed in NYC since the Civil War, but, even beyond that,
Let's ask the tough question... is this guy for real? Maybe he is the leader of the local opposition on his spare time? He just wants more toys and more power.
VietNam, you will never leave us. Not as long as idiots are in charge.

3. I don't think he wants to keep order....even if he had an army |
|
People getting killed left and right, and this guy proudly claims they tried to kill him 3 times.
1. A bullet pierced a helicopter he was in
2. A lone gunman opened up on his bullet-proof motorcade
3. The attack on the Police Station, while he was, ur, conviently in Bagdad.
They don't sound too derermined to me.
To this VietNam vet, it sounds like the old shit the PapaSans used to preach in Saigon... give us more, we'll do more.
Horseshit.
