The "war" was bush's way of carrying out the orders of cheney's energy task force which planned on taking the iraqi oil fields and ensuring billions of no bid contracts for halliburton - mission accomplished. Nothing in the task force about terrorism. Nothing in bush administration plans about fighting terrorism after the initial show and tell in Afghanistan, which now is starting to unravel. We are now sending marines to Afghanistan for political reasons only. Can't have the government falling to terrorists during the election year of a "War President."
