Who was the DUer on Wisconsin Public Radio?

I was in the car listening to Kathleen Dunn's show on WPR where they were talking about Air America. Kathleen was complaining that it was too hard to listen to and that the computer stream kept failing. A caller told her that she had no problem listening on the LINKS PROVIDED BY DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND. COM. Kathleen, of course, had never heard of it and asked the caller to repeat it.

Whoever the lady DUer was, it was a great plug!!!!

Also important: Eric Altermann was the first guest for the hour and was followed by an Arts/Entertainment Critic for the Chicago Tribune who pretty much dissed the effort but said that a ray of hope for Air America was Randi Rhodes!!! He said she took no prisoners and was a real "flame thrower" who knows what talk radio is all about and can compete head-on with the conservatives.

Mixed reviews of course, but at least Air America is being talked about!

This is Goddess40's mom. I was that lady who gave the plug to DU. It made me happy to have Dunn repeat "Democratic Underground" so as to give it even more punch.

6. I even post the DU on the Weight Watchers message board

This is the goddess herself-There is a group in the 40's board that call themselves "moderately speaking" it is a bunch of right wingers. They give me the creeps. The give peace a chance group are always pleasent when I mention DU, and many manage to make their way over here.

4. Pluggind DU

Mr Moose has been plugging DU all over the hospital in the south. He had two heart attacks and two strokes and is on the mend now and spreading DU and all the info here. I print some of it for him to read. He has found quite a following over there and sent them over here. LOL Mrs. Moose

5. My neighbor is a DU lurker

I talked to him yesterday and found out that he only has WEB TV and no standard computer connection. He was upset that he couldn't get Air America although we tried several different ways.

He said he's getting a computer soon and will join us in a little theraputic Bush Bashing shortly.
