Could it be that s/he just didn't like Randi's debate tactics? Why attack the motive of the poster without any indication or reason?

I didn't like it either, by the way. We -- liberals -- have no reason to resort to this kind of verbal strongarming. For the record, I DETEST Nader's actions and agree with Randi 100% on whether he should run and what effect his running accomplishes. But there could have been a million times more effective ways to express that.

And NO, I don't think Liberals should "polite" or "moderate" or that they should shy away from powerful attacks. I'm a self-proclaimed radical. I believe in LIHOP, and wish that people would bring it up in places other than DU and such. I was disappointed to hear Al Franken dismiss it as a loony conspiracy theory yesterday.

My problem with how Randi handled Ralph isn't that she was too strong -- it was that she was too WEAK. It just sounded WEAK to yell over Nader and not let him finish a single sentence. As if she were unsure about whether or not she was capable of countering his points. She has such clear arguments and facts on her side, and those are the strongest weapons. Throwing hissy-fits works with dittoheads and morans, but we should be smarter than that.

Let me define "looney" for you. "Looney" is something that is off-the-bat impossible or self-contradictory. A lunatic doesn't have a sufficient logical device to see this, and thus could believe in a theory like this; hence it is "looney".

I listened to her streaming. Now that I have the luxury of over the air radio I thought I'd take advantage of it. Hillary just came on Franken's show right now. Randi will be on at 3 central time, not 2. This sucks! I will still have to stream to get it live and not on a one hour delay but if I do it now I will have missed and hour of her show.

This is stupid! I love the concept of lefty radio but this is a BIG mistake, IMHO. There are millions of potential callers not in the eastern time zone that will miss out. Plus, it ruins threads like these for me, they are spoilers.

Does anyone have a contact email address for them? Their website only had a snail mail address.

and Randi should have let her explain a bit more, but the caller wasn't being very clear to begin with. Randi was making the point that computer voting is the real problem with the system ... which we already know. How will IRV make things better if it's done with a flawed system?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm just trying to understand why the caller thinks IRV is the answer, because I'm with Randi on this one - get rid of the computers. Seriously, how will IRV help us if the machines are rigged ... or am I missing something?
