WH won't allow 9-11 panel to see most of Clinton antiterror documentation
They are holding back 75% of the documentation from the panel and there can only be ONE reason...they don't want it proven irrefutably that Clinton's White House made antiterror a much greater priority than the Bushies want known.

"LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks isn't getting a full picture of former President Clinton's terrorism policies because the Bush administration won't forward all of Clinton's records to the panel, a lawyer said.

Bruce Lindsey, Clinton's legal representative for records and a longtime confidant of the former president, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that only about 25 percent of nearly 11,000 pages have been turned over.

"I don't want (the commission) drawing the conclusion the Clinton administration didn't do X or Y and then there be a document that contradicts that and they didn't have access to that document because the current administration decided not to forward it to them," Lindsey said."

3. Yep.
"executive privilege."

* = the most secretive president ever. Can't we impeach him for abuse of power?

4. What a surprise
I mean, it's not like the Shrub continually stonewalled the 911 Commission, censored major reports to protect our Saudi-oil friends, and refused to appear before the commission unless on his terms, while clinton and gore agreed to give unlimited reports to the commission...

this whole "I'm going to hide everything I can" makes him look even more guilty of something criminal, even if he isn't.

6. What gives you the idea they aren't guilty?

In the real world they would be cooling their heels in jail right now.

7. hm...
well that whole "innocent until proven guilty" thing... but the bushies have almost enough circumstantial evidence to be declared "guilty" even in a court of law.

Of course, in most courts of law you can't withold information for "matters of national security."

5. Ridiculous!
Clinton should come out and make a public statement that he wants everything provided to the panel, to make it plain that it's not HIS fault nothing is being turned over.
