Bush Living in the '80's!!! |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-01-04 09:29 PM by Ilsa
I wonder if George and Condi and friends spend their evenings listening to Huey Lewis and the News, Billy Ocean, etc while they discuss trickle down economics, Star Wars, Family Ties, and the good old days of prime rate at 12%.
What do you want to bet they can still do The Hustle? They seem to have a problem letting go...

2. Bush was too drunk to remember the 80's |

While Condi's wishing the USSR was still around so she'd still have her area of expertise.

3. 80s? He was barely living in the 60s. |
|
He's quoted as saying he liked the Beatles until they got into drugs. He's said his favorite song is 50s Everly Brothers "Wake Up Little Susie."

7. Chimpy liked the Beatles until they got into drugs??! |
|
What a moran.
One, the Beatles got into drugs long before most people ever heard of them. It's no surprise that Chimpy doesn't know that, though, since he doesn't seem to know anything.
Two, what a hypocrite! Chimpy liked his blow. He liked his likker. He liked married women. But he was too pure to listen to the Beatles because they "got into drugs."
What an effin moran.

5. Billy Ocean? Huey Lewis? No way. |

I see Bush as a Sinatra guy. Not only can he understand Sinatra's lyrics, but he also appreciates the tough guy image , the priviliged life, and the mob connections.
On second thought, maybe he doesn't like music at all. It's way too beneficial to ordinary people.

6. No. Perry Como and Andy Williams. |
|
No doubt in my age-enfeebled mind; those are his idea of "popular" music.
