Awesome numbers for Air America

It's Brian from I Stand For, we're doing the AAR website.
We're so sorry things have been buggy, nobody could have anticipated the response we have received.
We've broken records people... We are Real Audio's #1 stream. We were at 50,000 streams during Al's show around 2:00 EST. We got 350,000 unique visitors from 8:00 last night to 2 this afternoon. That puts us on pace to be a top 50 site...on the entire web. We're talking Bank of America, Dell Computers numbers.
You guys are awesome, this is amazing and we're so proud to be a part of it.
I assure you were working round the clock to bring you the best community website possible. Were getting new servers set up to handle the incredible response. Next week we'll be rolling out new functionality: membership, blogs, newsletters, and in a little bit, audio archives for all the shows.
So keep keeping on! We can do it. It's time to show everyone that we love America as much as anybody, and were not gonna sit by and watch George Bush poop in our porridge anymore.

This is great news about Air America. I'm enjoying the programs very much and the great guests. Loved hearing people like Barney Frank, Greg Palast, and David Corn interviewed. I hope someone will interview Molly Ivins too, I sure that will happen.

I signed a petition requesting Mike Malloy to be included in your programing, I hope there is serious consideration in that regard soon!!

I hope Air America grows and is in the critical "swing states" sooner than later.

Here are some adjectives I'd use to describe her:

I likes alot of what she said, but she is only 1/2 notch above the super boring Curtis Ellis to me. But I'll keep listening and maybe learn to like her. You go girl.

14. I'm wondering if there is a spike in XM subscriptions...

Within 48 hours after I first heard that XM was going to carry Air America, I had a new XM system installed in my car. That's in addition to the Sirius system I already had. Yes, that's right, now I've got both of them. When I called this afternoon to give XM my credit card number and activate my subscription, there was a long wait and a recorded message that said all of their customer service representatives were busier than usual. I wonder if that's because a lot of people are doing what I did to get Air America? I hope XM is being rewarded with lots of new subscribers for giving us a new "America Left" channel on satellite radio. We need to show that liberal talk radio DOES work.

23. One thing that ticks me off about XM...

...they are carrying Ed Schultz instead of the first three hours of Randi Rhodes, so XM subscribers are getting only the LAST hour of Randi. What I did today was to listen to the first three hours of Randi on Internet radio. I like Ed Schultz but I like Randi Rhodes a lot more. Randi's kind of like a slightly less brash female Mike Malloy. Of all the talk show hosts I heard for the first time today, I like Janeane Garofalo the most. She is terrific! She's smart, passionate, knowledgeable and SO articulate. I think she's going to be a great liberal talk show host. Al Franken, bless his heart, needs a little seasoning. He seemed a little uncomfortable and out of his element. I love Al, I loved him on Saturday Night Live, I love his Stuart Smalley character, I love his book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," and I hope and believe that he will grow into his new role and this will truly be an "Al Franken decade." Mike Malloy is STILL my favorite one, Air America, PLEASE hire him! And Thom Hartmann is still my second favorite, I just LOVE Thom Hartmann, which is why I'm keeping my Sirius subscription in addition to my new (activated today) XM subscription.

Late at night, after Janeane Garofalo, they are carrying Alan Colmes, of all people. Isn't XM channel 167 supposed to be "America LEFT"? I turned the radio off and started doing something else after Garofalo's show ended.
