How Much Play Time Is This Getting...
According to an AP news story, the top Roman Catholic clergyman in the Holy Land, Michel Sabbah, says that BOTH leaderships (Arafat and Sharon) have to go before any real progress can be made. Sabbah also criticizes the wall the Israel is building, saying "...it would create two ghettos..." And he says that Israel is preparing for permanent war. He makes a very interesting statement, "They (Israel) have won all the wars, but they have no peace or security." He also criticizes Palestinian groups like the Hamas for the state the area is in. Think his comments will get any play on faux, cnn or msnbc?

1. No they make too much sense...
Fair criticism of the situation will rarely make it into the major media outlets.

Arafat has gone, Sharon is still there. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, Likud just killed any chance the roadmap had a week ago.
