Oh gawd....
why oh why???
gma just showed the couple who won 239 million bucks in the Virginia lottery...as the fellow gave his detailed vision of how he would spend the money <big sarcasm here> I was enchanted to see the toothpick he had failed to remove from his mouth bobbing up and down as he spoke...I wonder how much of that money will go to progressive causes...LOL

1. Hey, be nice
They have as much right to win that money as anyone! Ok, well, seriously.

2. Ah you've viewed Virginia wild life in its purist form
from the genus redneckus species Virginia!

Remember: it's legal for cousins to marry in Virginia.

3. Oh please ....
Besides the subject title being poor, is this post really necessary? or will it be open to flame bait? In any case, as Democrats, the inclusive party, this post seems a bit exclusive.

Good for him on his win, far be it from me to wonder how he spends his money.

4. I decided I didn't like him...
...as soon as I read that he said the money was no big deal to him.

A lot of people could use that money. If it's no big deal, don't buy a ticket and let someone who might need it win.

I sit here wondering how I'm going to pay the rent next month and I have this suddenly-rich fool telling me he doesn't need the money.

(Yeah, I know...I'm just jealous...)

8. Is it just me, or doesn't it
seem like they ALL say that after they win the lottery, like it's almost socially expected of them to say that. You better believe that it is, indeed, a VERY big deal to him and every other lottery winner, they probably just don't feel comfortable saying it because that would seem like they're flaunting it in front of family and friends and everyone else who also desperately need money.

6. He said he had a friend who died and did not have a headstone
He prayed to God that he could have the money to buy a headstone for his friend. That's the first thing he is going to do with the money. BTW, he cleared 100 million and the check was dated April first, although that was legitimate. He's spent a few weeks consulting with tax attorneys.
