Exactly how did CNN mistakenly think The White House called to say the video of the yawning boy was faked? CNN's explanation makes no sense whatsoever.

Screw the apology. I want to know exactly how CNN could make such a mistake.

18. Here's the text of the apology

according to the Washington Post:

"It turns out, due to what we might say a misunderstanding among the folks who are usually so fantastic behind me here in the newsroom, it turns out that was not true," (CNN's Daryn) Kagan said yesterday. "The White House, it turns out, I guess never did call us about the tape...and apparently we now see no evidence that it was faked."

"So Dave, we apologize for the error...If you need me to come up and do a stupid human trick or a stupid pet trick, I have that, too. But hopefully we're just okay. We apologize."

There MIGHT have been a misunderstanding? She GUESSES that the White House never called? It is now APPARENT that the video is genuine? She's got more wiggle room than a belly dancer. If this is an idea of an apology, she's alredy DONE the stupid human trick!
