5. Done...but...
I wonder why her testimony was in a closed-door session.

She's been very forthcoming with this info and I'd be willing
to bet she was forced to testify quietly.

11. Done ....
It really disturbs me that CNN.com doesn't have this as their top story, and instead has had the crap about more jobs in March ... I'm sorry, but to me, minimum wage job growth (as well as blue collar work) doesn't get me that excited. I sit here with a college degree, three semesters from another one, and despite doing very well in college, I have NO prospects for employment without going to the local retailers and working part-time. How can I pay back student loans and help support my family with that???

:grr:

Lost In Translation

July 13, 2003
(CBS)

/snip/

"Edmonds says that the supervisor, in an effort to slow her down, went so far as to erase completed translations from her FBI computer after she'd left work for the day.

“The next day I would come to work, turn on my computer and the work would be gone. The translation would be gone,” she says. “Then I had to start all over again and retranslate the same document. And I went to my supervisor and he said, ‘Consider it a lesson and don't talk about it to anybody else and don't mention it.’”

24. Last year Edmonds didn't reveal as much as she did last week.
Edited on Fri Apr-02-04 01:53 PM by Minstrel Boy
She was remaining silent about the more damaging details, as the DOJ had instructed. But she became outraged that there was no follow-up to her testimony, and so has gone public.

29. Honestly, I don't think this IS a big story yet
UPI, Moonie Times, Drudge, and Kansas City magazine does not a big story make.

Why no AP story?

Not enough local pick-up in US.

Time to hammer local media.
