2. The monsters are due on Maple Street
Is anyone going to pay attention to this alert? They may have to go to Code Red to make people appropriately scared.

4. I predict no attacks before the election
it would prove that Bush cannot protect America and would get him defeated. A defeat for Bush is a defeat for the terrorists.

I think the Spain bombing was a trial run.

The GOP is probably willing to pay somebody for not attacking. They can afford to be generous, is our money.

5. If it's a campaign strategy, it's a stupid one
One more attack, and Bush may not finish his term. If he hypes fear all summer, the economy will dive as tourism is crippled. If Bush claims to have stopped a major attack (which would have been a better move shortly after 9-11), people will doubt him, because it will be too convenient, and because people will be even more aware that he should have stopped 9-11.

Worst case for Bush would to have another attack that we weren't warned about, though, so Bush is covering that base. He's got to do something, though, to get away from the whole terrorism issue, because it is fast becoming his downfall.

6. I think it will come 6/11
Spain happened on 3/11 and of course 9/11. Someone in Al Queda is cute about numbers in their attacks.

I actually believe it's a serious threat. And who will they blow up? A bunch of people on a subway or commuter train.

11. I must admit,
the first thing I thought of when I heard the warning was June the 11th.

7. The problem
with not being up front and honest in conjuction with many alerts in the past creates an environment where whether real or not, people don't know what to take serious or not. That's a bad situation.

8. This is what is disturbing about this report:
The Cabal is currently facing major criticism about
being warned of attacks prior to 911 and doing nothing.

How do they counter that at this point?

Why they warn of new attacks, to prove they are "on it"
so that when it happens, they can prove that they
DID know this time and they DID tell us what they knew
so that we were warned.

Also, if there were new attacks before the election, that they
KNEW about, and "Hey they DID warn us..."
And since we know all about what is going on as far
as terrorists go, we have to stay in the White House
because this is NOT the time to hand National Security
over to new people who don't know as much as we do...

Think about it.
Tell me your thoughts on the possibility that the timing
of this report as strategy in a bigger long term agenda.

9. This is the WH giving the media a weekend assignment
Something to keep them occupied.

The Sibel Edmonds story was a sure headliner for the evening news shows. Now this.

Is it going to work?
