I have to laugh and love DU Air America posters |

Edited on Fri Apr-02-04 03:53 PM by Gothic_Sponge
At first i thought we shouldn't criticize any host on Air America. We should just be happy to have a voice. However, I thought about it, and thinking that is almost as bad as the jerks that say "If you don't like America, get out!" It's the Liberal way to love something (Air America) but not blindly love everything about the network. Everyone is going to have a favorite host. I think all the disagreements about hosts is a testament that we are not sheeple.

3. There's a way to do constructive criticism that doesn't give freepers ammo |
|
It's one thing to offer advice and opinions on improvements that you feel can be made. It's another thing to fill up threads with, "this sucks, that sucks, such-and-such can die."
That's not adult. That's childish whining.

4. In the words of John McCain "I won't attack my friend" |
|
When asked if John Kerry was weak on defense, John McCain said "I won't attack my friend", a bit of wisdom some DUers could make more use of. And for those who think they are offering "constructive criticism", I have to wonder if you've even given any constructive criticism to a friend. In my experience, this can be a very touchy thing to do and it requires some sensitivity. It requires choosing one's words so as to not inflame the situation. After all, you're trying to be *constructive*
I've seen the comments about AA. Regardless of intent, they are NOT constructive. And saying things like "Any criticism of AA results in your being called a Freeper" is not constructive either. It's just criticism, and no one is fooled by calling it "constructive"
