Who owns CNN?
Ted Turner doesn't own it anymore, right? Who owns it?

I'm just curious as to why they are trying to be FoxNews so bad. Looking for a source of change. They used to be independent IMO years ago. I'm wondering when the change occured and who/what the catalyst was.

3. Time Warner (was AOL/ Time Warner)
Ted sold out most if not all of his media empire (CNN, CNN Headline News, WTBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, and Cartoon Network?) in the mid to late '90s. He also sold his interests in the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks at the same time. Time Warner got most of it, before AOL bought them out.

5. Board of Directors and Beneficial Owners
a couple of names stick out ... Carla Hills, for one, who served in Poppy's administration, has her fingers in many pies, including American International Group, AIG, Maurice Greenberg's (Chair of Nixon Center) insurance company

the other is Liberty Media Corporation ... and, its link to News Corporation (Rupert Murdoch). One of the Beneficial Owners of Liberty is Janus which I'm sure has investments in Clear
Channel
... basically, a few people control way to much power in our world

the tentacles reach to even more corporations through common links

Liberty is a holding company owning interests in a broad range of electronic retailing, media, communications and entertainment businesses operating in the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. Our businesses are classified in three groups; Interactive, Networks and International and include some of the world's most recognized and respected brands, including QVC, Encore, STARZ!, Discovery, UnitedGlobalCom, Inc., IAC/InterActiveCorp, and News Corporation.
