1. I doubt massive civil disobedience will happen.
Most people don't care one way or the other as evidenced by less than half of eligible voters voting.

3. I could see the Constitution getting tossed out
If Asscroft has his way. I think it would only be a matter of time if Bush is reelected.

4. 99.999% of the media pretend he was legitmately elected, anyway.
99.999% of the media pretend he was legitmately elected, anyway.

How do I know this? 99.99% of the media call him "President" now, and doesn't talk about the thousands of legal voters told that they couldn't vote in Florida in 2000, or about the fact that TO THIS DAY the majority of the purged voters haven't been restored to the rolls.

12. Scary thought, but maybe it has already been tossed.
The 2000 SCOTUS decision handing * his pResidency, in defiance of the Constitution, would certainly support that idea.

2. You missed a Socialistic Uprising against our Corpo Masters.
Which I'd give a 12.5% chance of occuring if the lil' Dicktator steals another one.

I for one will be pushing for this option:-)

6. nice - but I see maybe 20 rise up and are killed/arrested in Tulsa
etc

in Chicago, SF, etc - real blood bath with tanks, etc

works only if streets totally filled like in Serbia after election mix-up there

maybe if it's presented as a game show - or everyone shows up at the football/baseball stadium

it's late - I'm over 60 and MY GENERATION WENT THRU THIS BEFORE

repubs learned from VN and Nixon and the 60s so they would control everything before really doing what they want - ie, all branches and the media

dems didn't - not even from 68 when antiwar people didn't vote for HHH because he wasn't 'pure' enuff

7. We impeach his ass before the next congressional election.
Because no one's going to be as worried about George as other Republicans.

We already know what he is. They've been in denial.

16. I think there’s a higher probably of that…
Than most might think….right now, I think the powers-that-be are just hoping the ballot box does the job….if not, the “I” word will be front and center as we head into `05…

19. I’m not saying it will in fact take place…
Maybe the best I could hope for is that there will be enough evidence/smoking guns to give a fair amount of repugs reason for pause…nevertheless, I do believe the “I” word will gain traction as the various inquiries/probes play out…

Imho…of course….

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/impeach020198.htm

The grounds for considering impeachment of Richard Nixon far exceeded anything currently under scrutiny. The first article of impeachment charged that Nixon "made it his policy . . . . to delay, impede, and obstruct . . . . to cover up, conceal and protect those responsible; and to conceal the existence and scope of other unlawful covert activities."

That impeachment process was aborted when grateful Republicans seized upon a suddenly discovered tape of Nixon actually ordering an obstruction of justice -- the so-called "smoking gun" -- and told Nixon that he had to go.

8. Nothing at all will happen
The media will tell us it was right and necessary and we're all better off. And the majority will buy it. The rest will gnash their teeth and hope for better next time. We'll just get more of the same, but nothing dramatic like civil war. And it will all seem reasonable to the majority.

Khash.

Which means we'll be prosperous and happy forever after only if we are prosperous and happy now. Which we ain't.

11. Remember the Milton-Bradley game "Fortress America"?
It's a board game where the rest of the world gangs up on us.

I can't see it really getting to that, but I never thought lots of this other stuff would happen either.

15. Most of the choices are too extreme
but the deficts are already at unsustainable levels. There will be huge economic problems coming down the road.

When the Bush* twin debt and real estate bubbles burst, times will be very, very tough. Of course, it will all be Clinton's fault!

23. When Kerry wins that will happen. Can't see it until then though.
Of course impeachment will be a moot point. But maybe they can be turned over to the Hague, or prosecuted by an independent prosecutor.

26. I disagree.
Dems seemed a bit shell shocked following the 2000 theft, I think you'll see far more anger if it happens again. Moreover, most dems didn't know just how awful * would be--now we know.

27. I remember massive demonstrations on inauguration day,
and the never to be forgotten "Shadow Inauguration" by Sharpton. Watching these events on C-SPAN got me through that horrific day. The mainstream whore stations of course reported nothing but the emperor's illegal insertion.

32. Even if they botch the theft of the Presidency this time...
...Kerry is left with a malignant, poisoned, time-bomb of a Nation. We're only less f**ked if we win. The Bush Regime has set the Nation up for complete collapse with few options for recovery. If Kerry saves the United States, he will distinguish himself as one of the greatest Presidents in our history. Seems like an almost impossible task.

How about Krugman for his top economic advisor for starters?

knowing that they "didn't compromise".

If you don't vote for Kerry, you are enabling the very corporate fascism you so despise.
