Gary Hart Warned Condi Rice Just Before 9/11

Gary Hart says he met with Condolezza Rice on 9/6/01 to talk about the imminent threat of terrorism:

"One more thing: I met with Rice not long after the president was in Crawford and being briefed by CIA officials on the possible use of aircraft against American targets. This was all happening in the weeks before 9/11. So I think it's terribly disingenuous for the president of the United States to say, "If somebody had told us they were going to use aircraft against the World Trade Center, we would of course have taken action." I think it's just ridiculous to say, "We're not going to do anything until someone tells us where, when and how." - Gary Hart

I'd say the WH is preparing to throw Rice to the wolves.
It's too bad. I'm no fan of her but I REALLY hate to see the Repiglicans in the WH get away with this.

She is already bought and paid for, imho. I would be very surprised if Rice put her country over her loyalty to these people.

She already has truly crossed the rubicon. She has been an active participant in the dismantling of our greatest institutions, the sanctity of the vote.

She as actively ignored a real threat to the citizens of this nation to further her personal, and professional goals. Has a result of her active indifference of a know threat, that event came to pass, and she then has callously used the resulting several thousand corpses of her countrymen and women to further her personal and professional goals. How could she possibly back out now?
