Okay, so I haven't been over to The Steel Cage in a while. I can't sleep because of my anxiety (I'm trying for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders tomorrow, er, today I guess.) so I decided to surf the political web. When I came across my ol' buddy Chadwick and his website I was greeted with a stunning confession:

I’ll tell you something, I miss my life in the United States. I miss being able to go out at like ten o’clock at night and having a bunch of fast food choices to feed my hunger. Stuff like that is what I miss the most. One of the biggest adjustments I’ve had to make is how I listen to talk radio. I used to listen to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity while I was at work. Whenever I was driving through Wyoming I would tune into the Glenn Beck Show and Dr. Laura sometimes. In the evenings I would turn on Michael Savage (my personal favorite) while I was driving around doing stuff. That system worked for me and I got used to it. Now that I’m in Germany, though, I’ve had to adjust fire. The only show that I can listen to that comes on during my waking hours is Limbaugh. If I want to listen to the entire show I have to stay home all night and if I want to listen to Hannity or Savage I have to stay up for a while. So listening to talk radio is kind of a hassle, but I’m and addict so I gotta do what I gotta do.

So he admits he listens to Hate Radio all day. So you would think he would be able to tell when people are attacking the people and not the issues or be able to tell when people are lying. I mean, he's exposed to it all day everyday, right?

He has the audicity to say this about Al Franken's first broadcast:

From a fan of talk radio standpoint, not from a political standpoint, I have to say that Franken’s first outing was mediocre at best. You would think that because of his incredible ugliness, radio would be a perfect fit for him, but sounded very green behind the microphone. Sure, he is a seasoned veteran of comedy television and political humor literature, but you could tell he was in over his head in his debut broadcast. His co-host kept having to bail him out during the first hour. It was also very apparent that he does not have his priorities in the right place. He kept referencing Limbaugh and O‘Reilly, making fun of Ann Coulter, and even defended his book against bloggers of all people. During the first hour, it really seemed to be more of an attack against mainstream conservatives rather than trying to talk about the left’s positions on issues or the news of the day. The jokes weren’t even funny. If the parodies of the right were actually humorous, it would not have been half as bad. Maybe they just need some new writers in that regard.

When they finally did get to the issues, Franken barely did any of the talking. Bob Kerrey came on and just rambled on and on about the 9/11 hearings. When Franken say something, his arguments were nothing but clichés and tired talking points. It was just boring for a while. Then Michael Moore came on, and that’s when I started throwing things at my computer. Both Al Franken and Michael Moore in the same room with vile lies coming out of their sewers was more than I could handle. When they started talking about “all the soldiers that have written me and told me that I’m their hero and Bush is a creep” and things of that nature is when I finally turned the nonsense off.

Now, besides the fact that Chadwick is flat wrong about everything, I think that Franken's first broadcast was excellent considering it was his first show. It just goes to show you that conservatives have absolutely no objectivety.

Personally, I am a fan of Randi Rhodes.

that Franken did just fine for the first day...many people are blasting it already...I say give it awhile and it will be just fine...

Does anyone see irony in the fact that he is an admitted fast food addict and that he feeds himself the equivalent in rightwing ideology all day long?

8. I've been in inclined...

to check out his website from time to time just because he is so hilariously stupid, but tries to make himself sound like he knows what he's talking about.

Sometimes I feel sorry for him and wish I could talk him over to our side, but i can never seem to catch him on the instant messenger... he's probably too busy eating McDonald's or Wendy's or something like that. lol

If I was President, this is what I would stand for and do:

Well, I agree with him on one point (out of nineteen) -- I'd like to jump start the space program and put man back on the moon. Only I have no illusions that it can be financed by a series of capital-leveraging Bake Sales, sales of Weeping Eagle Brand 9-11 trinkets and memorabilia, and the confiscation of all assets held by "illegal" aliens who can't understand a word of English (other than "El Welfare-o", and when they appear in court), affirmative-action-leeching black people, slutty women who have had abortions, dirty Palestinians (and they're all dirty, aren't they?), and all those Fem-Lib lezzie chicks who didn't want to go out on a date with JDC. (Does this mean you, sister SkiBunny? For shame! For shame!)

Poor Master Chadwick -- in ten years, he will read his words anew and burn with humiliation. Conservative fire in the piss-filled belly will the be 2020s version of "I did drugs in the 60s, and now I am ashamed."
