The yawning kid on Letterman
I wasn't able to see it. Was he as much of a pre-rehearsed li'l Bushie as I think he was (after a couple of days of Rove-ing)? Or did Letterman cut through the crap?

3. Why, yes. Yes, I do.

Bushco's manipulation of media has had a lot to do with the way those murders were sanctioned in the first place and why relatively so few people have come to the understanding that you have.

responding to a since-deleted post asking whether I really care about such nonsense when the US sanctions violence against an incredible number of people in the world (intentionally paraphrasing in case the original's language was the problem)

2. Nah, he was a little GOPer...
...of course, you can't blame the kid. He doesn't know a thing at his age. It all comes from his parents. I hated Clinton when he first came into office, for no other reason than I was supposed to.

Letterman knew better than to go after a kid, and I don't him.

10. It did give Letterman an excuse
to replay the video though.

11. God, me too... I hated clinton when he first came in... because..
that's what the "good" people were supposed to do.

I'd like to say that my parents are way different today. :)

12. he was OK
I just watched the tape of last night's show. He was just a typical 13 year old. I noticed we was wearing the exact same clothes he did in the video. The kid said he couldn't remember all of the bu$h speech and he thought the video has hilarious too.

bu$h sent him a personalized note telling him if he was a fellow his age he'd have trouble staying awake too. Heck bu$h puts grown people to sleep why would this kid be any different.

13. not only that ...
Dave played a segment right after that showed Bush himself becoming inattentive when somebody else is not just making a speech, but speaking directly to him! So does this imply that Bush is still, on some level, 13 years old?

I thought the kid was funny -- I hope he doesn't get into trouble with his folks because of all this! Seems he just likes George W. as he would any other celebrity (he watches Emeril on TV) -- not because he likes the man's policies.
