1. just installed the XM Roadie
Bought it yesterday and had hubby run all the wires so it was all purdy in my car... what a hoot setting up all the cool channels I highly recommend the $200 bucks for folks who spend lots of time in their cars.

2. Is it the full lineup though?
For instance, I heard they're only carrying O'Franken Factor and Majority Report and NOT the rest of the lineup. My whole point for getting XM would be to be able to free up bandwidth on my broadband connection as I am a radio junkie and have something running almost constantly.

6. Slightly modified....
XM Left carries Ed Schultz, due to contractual obligations, and Randi's show is cut to its last hour until the Schultz contract is honored. Randi's show is being repeated in the overnights for now.

They also have Alan Colmes following Garafalo.

AA shows up to Randi's show and after Randi's show are intact.

7. By the way - or should it be "BUY the way" -
When/if you purchase XM, BE SURE TO TELL THE SALES STAFF, PREFERABLY THE MANAGEMENT AT THE STORE, WHY YOU ARE DOING THIS. TELL THEM YOU WANT TO HEAR AIR AMERICA. If retailers start getting the message that there's quite a clamor out there for this new network, that will not fall on deaf ears for long. If they conclude that bigger bucks and more satisfied customers are tied to Air America, you can bet they'll wanna climb on the bandwagon, too. THUS are empires built.

8. XM Details
The Roady is the cheapest system for XM. It is mainly a system for your car that hooks into a cassette player. In addition, you can use the Roady with the same car antenna for your home, if you put the antenna outside with a view to the southwest. You just need a 6 volt AC/DC adapter and RCA plugs into your stereo to convert the Roady into a home system. That is the cheapest way to go - you can get it on sale for $100, and the subscription is $10 a month. It is a great way to listen to Air America, and also to not have to listen to homogenized pop music stations.

9. Drat! I like Randi's show the best for now.
I've been looking at the Delphi SkyFi XM receiver which (from what I understand) has standard line-out RCA jacks so it can be plugged into any stereo line-in, even your computer's sound card if you have an adapter.

10. Sirius
Sirius will announce Monday that they will be carrying Air America too.

I don't know how much of it they will be broadcasting, but the Sirius Media Relations person who leaked this said it would be "more than the other guys"

If you buy Sirius be sure to tell them it's because of Air America too.

We Sirius subscribers have been emailing the heck out of them to carry Air America and they apparently are listening to us.

11. Glad I got XM
The Air America thing lead me to get XM and i couldnt be happier with it. What a great music source this is, I wish I had found it long ago.

Reception is never a problem it works great in my car and home. I never
thought I would pay for radio, but this service is really worth it.

12. Satellite Radio
I use Sirius and can honestly say I can't remember what I ever did before Satellite radio.

Welcome to Satellite Radio. You'll enjoy it a lot.
