One thing that Air America REALLY needs to work on...
...is its sound levels. The commercials are WAY louder than the shows.

It's a pain in the ass, having to keep adjusting the volume on my computer speakers. And you shouldn't have to do that when listening to the radio, anyway!

C'mon, Air America engineers. You can do better than that.

4. I agree
For me, It's only on the Real Media streams, the Windows streams are fine.
And It's not just the commercials, I also have problems hearing the guest or caller, the sound quality is bad also, sounds like they are talking Into a tin can.

If Bush is the answer, it must have been a stupid question.

5. I with you on that!
its gotten a little better over the first few days but there are still a lot of problems. Anytime they return from a break the audio is blasting for the first couple of seconds then it drops back to normal. I hear that problem online and also on XM.

On the positve side, the audio is not totally distorted like it was the first 2 days.

7. Over compressed.
All of these problems are likely due to over compressing the signal to stream and not normalizing sources. I'll ask an audio engineer friend.

8. they could stand a few more black and/or latino voices
behind the mics. i'd vote for that over sound levels.
