Remember last summer when casualties were beginning to mount in Iraq? Bush just redefined the deaths into evidence that his plan to take the war to the terrorists was working. Of course, he ignored the other, more likely, possibility: that the opposition was not primarily Al Quida... but that the US invasion only created more anti-American rage within the Iraqi population itself. Grudgingly, over the past few months, members of the Bush Junta have finally acknowledged this.

As the anti-American resistance grows... and Iraq seems to be sliding into a civil war... I await Bush's next comments on how events prove how much MORE progress has been made and just how brilliant a was leader he is.

If Bush REALLY believed in democracy he would have refused to take office and spent the last 4 years pushing to bring democracy to the US.
