Some of you might remember the important (at least in my eyes) story about the communications director of Condoleeza Rice and the NSC, Anna Perez, getting a top job at NBC ( http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/02/business/media/02nbc.html)

This reeks of...everything.

You'd think it'd be an important story--but according to a google Search of "anna perez", only THREE print-media sources reported on it, period! NY Times, LA Times, and the Daily Variety.

Its great to know that Americans are getting the down-lo on such--disencouraging, to say the least--stories regarding the closeness between the media and the government. A tad scary, this is.

1. Part of this is the media covering for the RW

but the other side is why the hell isn't the DNC out there making a big stink about the RW media. They don't seem to complain. Just like they cringe when they are being called a Liberal instead of being proud of it. The squeaky wheel gets the attention (or however that saying goes).
