Do this weekend's events represent the "Tet Offensive" of this occupation
in terms of the effect on the public's enthusiasm for this war? Will only time tell?

1. They are the most important events since the collapse of the Ba'ath govt
I don't know whether that makes them the "tet offensive," but this moment is very important.

2. Not at all
Iraq is a completely different situation, and 10 soldiers is nothing, strategically, to compare to the Tet.

4. I will remind you
from the looks of things in Barra and Fallujah, the Tet offensive may just be begining...

Use the correct term though, Great Arab Revolt of 2004

5. No, this just makes the Resistance official.
They haven't begun to fight. They're still practicing. They're going to get real good at it.

6. No way. This is still 1965 - in Viet Nam terms...
When the Shi-ites decide they've had enough THEN you will see this war's "Tet Offensive".
