i guess i'll have to move to a red state...
apparently the economy is BOOMING,at least according to some of the freepers i've argued with on a BBS i visit.someone posted a FAUX news article about the 308,000 new jobs,i countered with some links i found here.oh,BTW,the recession is clinton's fault,but all the good stuff that happened during his administration was thanks to reagan and bush I.:wtf:

1. Let's Turn Red into Blue.
If the employment picture in the "red" states is better than in the blue ones, that's ONE reason to move there.

But there's another, more practically political one.

Considering that many red states have tiny populations, the influx of 10,000 or so Democrat voters into one of those states could put all that state's electoral votes in our column.

We have more than enough voters to carry MA, NJ, NY, MD and other reliably "blue" states. Perhaps we should soliciting volunteers from among them to move to Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, and so on.

If enough people do,
Red turns into blue.

2. Well, when I'm shopping in FL, many sales people have bad or no teeth.
There's this phenomena that comes with lots of low-paying jobs; it's called a low quality of life.

BTW - The recession officially began in March of 2001. Likely someone in the government came out with "new" figures showing it really happened at the end of Clinton's watch. Fine. I'd even give them that. The problem is that the recession has been OVER since December of 2001 - over two years now.
