Spanish Handling of Terrorists

I saw this on the news the other day.

I'm not sure exactly how well the Spanish are dealing with Islamic terrorists in general but to me it appears that they did a good job following the train bombing.

They preventing another train bombing, and now it appears that this particular cell is just about wiped out, which is a good thing.

Although it is sad about the police officer that lost his life, but its definately preferable when several terrorists blow themselves up and only kill one innocent.

So does this mean the end of Islamic terrorism in Spain for the immediate future, or do you think there will be more attacks or attempted attacks?

Is Spain doing enough to protect against future attacks?

How well are they doing against terrorism compared to us?

1. Good thing.

If the US used similar tactics that the Spanish and French use then so many civil rights groups would be screaming at the top of their lungs. I believe it is US Week or perhaps TIMES that had an interesting article about it.

What type of tactics are they using? Why would civil rights groups be screaming thier lungs out?
