Please Don't Tell Me: "Chill Out, It's Still Early"!
It seems the running reply to nervousness that this campaign just doesn't seem to want to commence is that one should "chill out, it's early". Early has a way of very suddenly becoming "too late". Remember Bush has had three years aided by the media and the silent Democrats to pound his propaganda deep into the American mind that he is a strong, great leader. It's never too early to try to wash that propaganda out of people's minds--in fact, we are three years behind the eight ball. Maybe we don't have the money to match Bush, but Kerry does have a mouth, doesn't he? Bush is making 5 stump speeches for every one Kerry makes; and thus, he receives free air time. That is inexcusable. Kerry needs our dollars and the Kerry camp also needs us to kick it in the butt and tell them the clock is fast approaching "too late". No one listens to squat in the summertime from politicians...we have a handful of weeks to make Kerry a forceful, defined presence. So far, 90% of the defining is being done by Bush. I assume Kerry is making a speech today. He has to follow it up by a major speech every day following. From here to November this campaign has to go 24/7 to make up lost ground.

3. sniffa---that's the kind of excuses we gave the Dems for three years
This game, and we prefer to remain ignorant, actually is already at half time. Take out the summer----no one makes political points in the summer. That means about 8 weeks. September is another 'gone with the wind month"--ask Andy Card. Then we have 4 more weeks. All I know about Kerry right now if I've been getting news from our usual news sources is that he will raise your taxes a gazillion percent, he will let you die at the hands of terrorists, and he waffles. 8 weeks to change that......

6. Freak out! Its already over!
Bush carried 48 states and the Rethugs picked up 6 senate seats. Scalia's been nominated for chief justice and Ashcroft's going to join him on the court soon.

There now. Feel better?
