4/5 Rasmussen Poll: Kerry 47% Bush 45%
Bush approval down to 51%.
Less than half (47%) believe we are winning the wat on terror.
Congress: Democrats 41% Republicans 36%
Washington Kerry 50% Bush 44%
Iowa Kerry 51% Bush 41%
Minnesota Kerry 47% Bush 44%
Michigan Kerry 48% Bush 44%
Ohio Kerry 45% Bush 41%
Pennsylvania Kerry 45% Bush 44%
Florida Kerry 48% Bush 45%
California Kerry 53% Bush 44%
Illinois Kerry 52% Bush 39%

The big news? After the $10s of millions of dollars Bush has spent to slime Kerry, nothing has really changed. Kerry still leads, and Bush is in serious political trouble.

2. A bunch of polls seem to indicate
that Ohio is more of a blue state than Pennsylvania. If this keeps going long enough, eventually it becomes a trend.

Go figger.

3. MIdwest/west strategy.
I think Kerry must focus on northeast/midwest/west and that's it. Some perfunctory visits elsewhere are OK, but I think that focusing on certain regions almost exclusively will not at all hurt most senate races elsewhere.

When I say this, I'm referring to the Kerry campaign--other progressive independent groups must focus their efforts elsewhere too in order to win certain senate races, OK, AK, CO, SC, LA and so forth.
