"Alas, that these evil days should be mine..."
This morning I turned on NPR. I heard that our troops had sealed off Fallujah and were anticipating a "big response". Clearly, we still don't get it and we're still determined to make more terrorists. I hear about the troops we lost over the weekend. I hear that Ariel Sharon has said that Palestinian nationhood could be held up by several years and that they might kill Arafat. Then I turn on the local Philly sports radio station and hear a BC/04 ad with a Boston cop talking about how much Kerry wants to raise taxes. We hear nothing from Kerry. That station (610) is BIG in Philly and it has deep suburban penatration. That cop ad was damned good. Do we have enough to stop this world from heading down the shitter?
