Air America is going to be added to Sirius

I was really bummed to read that XM had Air America but Sirius did not. I e-mailed Sirius and was directed to this press release.

Sirius Satellite is far superiour to XM in my opinion (biased customer opinon ofcourse) and I'm really excited to get to listen to this station!

1. Interestingly there will be two Liberal channels...
...and only one COnservative channel. Damn, I may have to seriously reconsider getting Sirius radio for my new truck.

2. Just last week I had an XM reciever in my hands
ready to buy, but I hesitated because they insist on cutting AA programming for Alan freaking Colmes. I put it back on the shelf and left the store. Thank gawd I hesitated! I'm buying my Sirus reciever tonight. Whoopie!

Sirius has some kick ass ambient music and jazz stations too. It's gonna be heaven. :D

The press release didn't mention the date.

Half of XM is owned by Clear Channel. I'm not going to give them any of my cash.

Air America will start broadcasting on Monday April 19th on Sirius stream 125
