Heard this morning on Morning Sedition. Scott Ritter compared it to the situation in Iraq and Fallujah.

Except that the US has taken the role of the Soviets and Cubans.

And the children of Iraq take the place of the "wolverines".

2. Red Dawn was movie released in 1984- the high point of Reagan

years. It is about Soviets invading the US and the resistance of American high school students to the Soviet occupation. Just wanted to add this note on Red Dawn, as many here may have never heard of this movie. Audience would cheer out loud when the students would kill soviets. I liked the movie at the time paid to see it more than once, boy have I changed.... Was one of the first movies for Patrick Swayze.
