i thought i read somewhere that katherine harris switched affiliation..
I read in someone's book that katherine harris had switched to democrat and then switched back to republican after the 2000 election.. can't find anything online about it.

Harris is a chump..she's too dumb and evil to be a Liberal Democrat.

Republican Party is more fitting for people like Harris..purely a "stepford" Republican.

But you may be thinking of the county elections commissioner chair that approved the infamous butterfly ballot. Republicans just love to mention that she was a Democrat.

Well the true story is that a Democrat resigned from the county commission just before the 2000 election and FL law requires a 50/50 split. So instead of Jeb appointing a Democrat to the commission, the chair of the commission changed from Republican to Democrat, so Jeb could appoint another Republican to the commission.
