DUMB QUESTION: Condi. What time tomorrow??? (be there, Aloha)
Sorry,

But as much as this topic's been flogged to death, I still don't know what time she is set to testify.

If anyone here knows, could you please post both Eastern and Pacific times for this?

5. i think
the testimony will be just wool over the eyes because one of the commissioner member just said on fox that the commission conclusions are already known which is that if the government has been working properly for the past 10 year , may be September 11 would have prevented

6. Given what we now know today. all of the warnings the Bush Team recieved,
they were supposed to be better prepared. The Pubs/Bush Guys/ dropped the damn ball, pure and simple.

7. The last ten years? The last ten years?
So, Clinton is implicated. Which commission member said this?

As much as Clarke supports Tenet, it appears the CIA reluctantly relented to requests, and always came up with a 'non-recommendation'. And the FBI,,,well forget the FBI...

The CIA and FBI suffered from the momentum syndrome - they could only move in the their rutted path - cold war and crime. And they couldn't even keep track of their money or computers.

Ten years agao, we didn't have knowledge of al Queda - they barely had knowledge of that title, but yes they were angy and the anger grew.

It seems to me that Clarke lit a fire under Clinton, Gore, Albright and Berger, but failed to light one under Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, Bush.

So, we're going to be fed crap again?

9. listen my dear poster
I have no expectations whatsoever from this commission

I just want to bring to your attention something very strange indeed a language that usually doesn't square well with the qualification of a witness .

every pundit, every official is saying when talking about the up coming testimony " she is smart, she will do very well. she is very articulate, she will do just fine "

the witness role is usually to lay facts that are the truth nothing but the truth , to help the adjudicator to make a determination about whatever , here all they are concerned with is that she will do fine , like if she is candidate for an athletic competition and all fans are eager to see her win, I am confused, all rules, norms and standards have been tampered with, mixed

10. The pundits and officials you hear
are all tools of the (mis)administration. Their job is to convince you of what they're telling you, not to tell you the truth.
