Did anyone notice how wrong the Media got the Tyco case?
The press totally focused on the wild and wacky (sexy?) parts of the tyco case. Jimmy Buffet, $6000.00 shower curtains, ultra-expensive parties and on ad naseum. Turns out the jurors totally dismissed such things saying that if the guy earned the money he could spend it however he wished. The press is our eyes and ears to the world and we are quickly becoming blind and deaf when it comes to the truth.

1. Sorry.
I didn't pay much attention to this case. I'm till trying to get over Martha Stewart's case.

2. The truth is a little murkier than you seem to think.
How, exactly, does one "earn" so much money?

Around the turn of the century, give or take a few decades, similar heartless ostentation resulted in numerous laws, most of which George Bush has evaded or destroyed.

Maybe the jury should ignore it. The rest of us should not.
