Time for a good news thread!

There is some news to be hopeful about, Kerry is inching above in the polls. The new Republican line that criticism of the war aids the terrorists isn't sticking. The Senate has potential.

Yet there is a malaise. We have been kicked so many times that it is the expectation. They are not more powerful then the truth.

The time has come to share hopeful news.

1. There's lots of good news

As far as I'm concerned the election news is all good. Except for that ridiculous CNN/Gallup poll a few days ago, all the recent polls have Kerry ahead. The most recent Pew poll shows *'s approval at forty three percent, an ALL TIME LOW. And... in my lovely state of California, *'s approval is in the thirties! Yes, I mourn for all the dead in Iraq, but if we all come together, we can end this nightmare in November!

5. Just an observation

support for the imposter's handling of "the war" is taking a nosedive, and it would logically follow that a majority of the population now feels critical of bush on Iraq (and a long list of other things).

So when the war criminals attack those who criticize, they are attacking a growing majority of Americans. Beyond that, I think it is becoming painfully clear to even the most drowsy of the sheep that when asked for solutions, bushco can only offer criticism of those who ask.

bush' plummeting numbers on the handling of the quagmire - a quagmire of HIS doing - show that the misleader's attacks are having no beneficial effect for him, and may be turning more people against him (as it should).

It is becoming apparent to more and more of the country that we sorely need leadership now, and with a man and a regime that can only offer attacks of critics, we are sorely lacking capable, genuine leadership.

Sorry to ramble, its late. I just agree that attacking the critics isn't working for bush, and the poll numbers back that up, imno.

Take a look at, A Feminist Ethic of Risk by Sharon D. Welch. I know it doesn't sound related, or sounds like I'm trying to hijack a thread. I'm not.
