Good to hear this is finally seeing the light of day. But is there any punishment for the criminals who authorized the use of this stuff?

DU has a half-life of 4.6 billion years. Good God. This is horrific! I can't even fathom 4,600 years! And it's only a half-life, meaning the stuff will only be half as radioative as it is today, 4,600,000,000 years from now.

4,600,000,000 years, people!

The Earth is about 4,600,000,000 years old. So is the Sun. And it's going to toast this planet when it goes into it's Red Giant phase in roughly about another 4,600,000,000 years. Even after the Earth has been burnt to a cinder by our Sun, the DU will still only be half as radioactive as it is now.

Unbelievable. This goes well beyond madness...

I've heard this woman before, and her website is great. This is some scary shit. Janeane just mentioned Democracy Now, the show from April 5. This was the topic of that show. Joyce just mentioned that a certain brand of concrete is now being manufactured with DU, because it makes the concrete harden faster. (I didn't catch the name of the product. I guess I can't type and listen at the same time. I must be gettin' old.) Oh, boy.

I think that is her last name. I was a guest on her show which is a far right wing patriot movement radio show. It was a real eye opener to find right wingers who share our concerns about the neo con agenda. this is interesting. Props to MR for having her on.
