Why is Bush in Texas?
Edited on Wed Apr-07-04 10:10 PM by Kool Kitty
I know he's there taking a little vacation for Easter, but shouldn't he be at the White House? Shouldn't he be a little more engaged? What's going on in Iraq right now is a mess. I would think that he would want to at least SEEM like he is interested. This is wrong. Imagine if this was Clinton's or Gore's behavior were they the President during this mess. The GOP would never stop screaming.

I totally agree
While fixing dinner tonight they were talking about all his conference calls on the news and I was thinking (actually screaming) the same thing. What the hell is that mans problem?? Does nothing phase him? I am SICK of all his vacations! We pay his f'ing salary! He needs to get his ass back to Washington and DO HIS JOB! These last 3 years have been nothing but a frigging party for that man. I'm fed up with it all. We have soldiers dying and he's at the pig farm playing farmer. I've never had so much hatred and anger as I do now. :grr:

8. I must have heard the same thing,
because that's what made me so mad. Conference calls? Yeah, God forbid he take time from his heavy fund raising and brush-clearing schedule to actually do the things that the President should do, like be in the WH to actually talk face-to-face with the staff and be in on all the decisions in real time. I mean, for Crissakes, Georgie, you worked hard enough at stealing the office-get your ass back to Washington and face the music!

that whenever something serious happens the people running the WH need to get him out of the way.

7. Yes, and it also gives him an excuse....
as in "if I'd a known" blah blah blah blah. Now when all hell breaks loose big time, he can say "Well, if I'd a known".......

The screwed up moron just never wants to know anything.

4. Its a "scheduled mini vacation" on the Crawford Ranch
Sorry if it offends the Left but thats the way it is.

Bush is busy chopping wood and underbrush, clearing the land for his cattle. He has a fine herd of Santa Gertrudis which commands high prices for their semen.

His horses include Pintos and Appaloosas but he never finds the time to work with them. He is unable to mount a horse much less put saddles on them. He doesn't even know basic knots; Square knot, Bowlines, Clove Hitches are alien to him as is Sanity, Reason, and Logic.

5. Indeed the outrage
never ends. It should be written into the constitution preventing the amount of time this "commander in thief" has been idle. (I say no more than five days off in row, and if you can't hack that I know a few other people that want your job, bozo)

Oh do I rememember 31 days straight- a new record the month before our little terrorist attack? Why I do. Where is the press??? Why don't they dare to ask him how he can defend this idleness while the men and women he sent to die and defend are being asked to stay on longer and longer. Oh that's right, it's the Western Whitehouse. NO, your job is in DC buddy, but hopefully you well be getting to stay in Texas full time very soon.

6. Remember. They were going to run the WH like a business.
In his case that means a 9-5 day and frequent vacations. It's ABC, baby; anybody but Clinton. Clinton was a workaholic who buried himself in papers and policy. Not our CEO president. He shapes events and does not have events shape him. Well, that was the plan.

9. Maybe while he's choopping wood,
he'll get into some poison ivy and get a nasty rash.

On second thought, I don't want that. His doctor would probably put him on steroids and then he'll go off the deep end and invade Syria while he's cranked up.

Of course, brown recluse spiders are known for hanging out on wood piles...

14. He's already paid the rent on the cows, horses, and dogs
that were shipped in to the fake ranch for this week's photo-ops
and TV interviews. He has hired extra help to assist him mount a
horse with a special expensive saddle that keeps him from falling
on his ass. Then you have that same pile of brush he always works
on - you know, the one near that ole' shack. I'm sure he wants to
finally clean that up before the election.

18. Because Easter is on 4-11?
The man is a genuine coward. His admitted first though on 9-11 was "self-preservation." I wouldn't be surprised if he were hiding out, either because he knows something, or just because he's a coward.

19. Because the "ranch" makes this weak man appear strong.
Chopping wood is one of the things Junior Bush "loves," according to CNN, among others in the press/propaganda business. Junior Bush can't do anything to improve the nightmare in Iraq, the economy, or anything else his team has royally f'ed up, but he sure seems strong chopping the sh*t out of a peice of wood or pointing his tiny leather-gloved hand at a stand of brush he wants cleared away. Of course he knows nothing of any of these strong, "manly" activities, only having aquired his first rural weekend estate at the age of 54 or so.

In the real world he looks tiny and sniveling and petty and, frankly, more than a few logs short of a full cord, but away from Condi and Congress and Kerry and our World that he is quickly destroying, his image makers create the George W. Bush the corporate media so helpfully dispense. It keeps the morans going, I guess.
