American talk radio in Baghdad......a different take

Dave Ross is the morning talk radio host on 710 KIRO in Seattle. Dave is generally not as outspokenly liberal as his co-workers at KIRO, Mike Webb or Erin Hart. At least I get that impression, since I don't often catch his show. I heard it today, however. Now, I don't watch the empire-speak box, aka tv, but I know that it is incredibly tainted. Dave is calm and level-headed in a very reasonable way as he explains the chaos in Baghdad and responds to his callers. If this type of reporting were more widespread, well, things would be different.

I think many DU folk have a much more realistic take on the Iraq situation than the general populace. However, Dave's Baghdad weblog has some interesting info. many may find informative.

All week this week Dave is broadcasting from a dilapidated (which I gathered from his description of it) hotel in Baghdad.

I've always considered Dave Ross to be more of a pragmatist as opposed to being a liberal or a conservative. He's definitely not as conservative as KIRO's afternoon talk show host that pussy whipped chicken-hawk armchair warrior Dori Monson.
