I predict a Carlyle group candidate will win again in '08
Assuming the Bu$h junta don't steal this election too, I worry that John Kerry will be a one term president. I think the mess that $Hrub is leaving him will prove to be a long-term situation and that the American people will become impatient and do what they always do, demand immediate short-term fixes instead of sticking things out for the long haul and making the best corrections possible.

1. Kerry, when he wins...
Needs to sit the country down and have a bunch of heart-to-hearts about where we stand as a nation and what we have to do to get out of this crater.

That is something a real leader must do. Get everyone pulling in the same direction.

2. You can't be serious, 'eh?
I can't think of one who'd run or even have a chance of being voted in office, LOL!!

Please enlighten this old fool, huh?

3. I don't mean the old guys themselves
but one of their stooges, like Dubya.

Jeb might run in '08 with DeLay as Veep. Something hideous like that. But they have had their fingers in our gov't since Ronnie Raygun. They will not be disappearing any time soon and they love not having to hid in the shadows like they did during the Clinton years. :(

5. Let's hope so because a Bu$h second term will make
these past four years look like heaven, what with no reelection worries.

UNLESS, we can get a truckload of dems onto the Hill, at which point we IMPEACH.

6. I think Kerry will be a strong 2-term president, like Clinton
Carter is the only Democratic president to fail to win a second term.
