Skynews showing video of destroyed Abrams Tank
Edited on Thu Apr-08-04 05:36 AM by JCMach1
splitscreen during the Coalition newsconference.

They also played battle video from Al Hayat...

Any American news channels showing the destroyed tank?

One of the guys may not have made it. He was BADLY wounded. It looks like the rest of the crew all took shrapnel.

2. Nope.. Cnn has "smiling Carol",,MSRNC has Imus
BBC showed a bit of the press conference, and then cut to their "Variety show"..

Fox & Fluff is about to have someone on who's gonna advise Condi on how to keep her cool....and of course they trashed the 45,000 page report from Clinton that only mentioned Osama 4 times, and for emphasis, the "chickie" held up four fingers, and rolled her eyes :puke:

3. JCM1 -- Sky's David Chater seemed angry this morning...
reporting from Baghdad, particularly at the W/Rumsfeld phrase "thugs and assassins." He pointed out that the trouble started when we closed down a newspaper, a curious thing for a country trying to set up a democracy to do. He's projecting a possible rallying of the Shia majority to Sadr, if we continue our present strategy.

4. I read an article in the past two days mirroring that thought
The rules of game have shifted suddenly under BUSHco and they haven't figured it out yet.

It seems as if they were sitting on a powderkeg (the Shia situation) and decided to start playing with matches (the retaliatory attack in Fallujah).

Even the moderates have politically deserted the Interim Authority.

6. What really kindled it?
Well, let's just say that allowing Sharon to murder sheikh Yassim DOES have serious consequenses for Americans.

It should be no surprise to anybody if that murder was taken as declaration of religious war against Muslims by Israel and US.
