...and asked the same question. Possibly someone was able to run up to it a and drop a grenade into it? Or a lucky hit with a molotov cocktail?

That was pretty disturbing...

All I saw this last time was the soldier who climbed out of the tank. It either cut at that point or I had a momentary blackout. I'm not discounting the latter possibility, but...

Okay, I saw it again at 7:40am central, and this time they showed most of what I'd seen before.

14. They may have more sophisticated anti-tank weapons

I skimmed through half-a-dozen older Newsweeks at the dentists yesterday, and saw in what was probably a February number a report that the "foreign fighters" were bringing in anti-armor weapons. I believe this was in a story on the Iraqi border patrol, but I skimmed so many articles I'm not sure.

I'm not a military guy, but shouldn't our main battle tanks be able to take an RPG without loosing much more than a tread?
