Indeed, the much-ballyhooed appearance today of National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice before the independent Sept. 11 commission in Washington could be an anti-climax - if she repeats the same things she has already said on "60 Minutes" and a slew of other TV interview shows. On the other hand, there could be fireworks if the commission members push the right buttons. So, here are 10 questions we'd like to see them ask her:

1: Why were 140 Saudi citizens - including two dozen members of the bin Laden family - flown out of the United States on Sept. 13, 2001, when all other air traffic was still grounded?

Background:This is possibly the most troubling episode in the immediate wake of Sept. 11 attacks. Experts believe some of the passengers could have provided information on Islamic terrorism in the United States and its funding. Rice should know who approved the flight and why.
