Iraqui people are committing suicide in Iraq

got an email from one of the mothers who is working as I am to get the troops home. Here it is. The Irais over there are committing suicide.

This womans son is over there, and she writes about her girlfriends sister who is over there in Baghdad trying to commit suicide. This is what we have done to them, and to ourselves.

Mari I'm sorry to hear this news. I know how worried you must be.
My son wrote me today that he'll probably be delayed over there. Plus, he
forbids me to use his name, talk about him, show his pic, nothing must be
shared about him.
And my girlfriend telephoned her sister today in Baghdad and interrupted her
sister's suicide attempt. This is also Kurdish New Year (my friend and her
family are Kurds), supposed to be a happy time.
BUT, those of us who can be, must be strong and determined. You are one of
those. Keep talking and reaching out. I'll do the same but I must also
respect my son's wishes
