I Nominate The 9/11 Widows for the Time Magazine December Cover..
...as people of the year. Every time I see them, as now, on Hardball), I still get very emotional. God Bless them for their work.

3. Agreed. They have given so very much to this country.
We may never know the truth about what happened on 9/11, but we are a lot closer because of these women.

They have turned their grief and anger into a powerful sword. Maybe John Kerry will honor them in some way.

They are a national treasure.

4. People of the whole damn decade...they deserve it.
I can't see them without crying. I can't imagine their hell and yet they have the strength and courage to keep going. They're definately on my short list of heroes.

After watching the 9/11 commission for who knows how long now, I have this overwhelming urge to do something for these people. Whether it's writing a letter of support, sending flowers, anything. I don't know how I would go about doing that though.
