Iraqis warned to stay home tomorrow (4/9)

I was standing outside with neighbours yesterday afternoon gossiping when a car drove by, threw a couple of fliers at us, shouting "read them, may Allah increase your reward". The fliers were signed by a group which called itself Saif Allah Albattar (Allah's striking sword) at Ramadi, Fallujah, Adhamiya, and Diyala, which advised Iraqis to remain home on April 9th (the anniversary of the occupation), stating that they would not be responsible if anyone failed to do so. Someone else talked about another group called the Iraqi Islamic Army (groups like these seem to pop up every other day) which claimed its responsibility for the killings of the 4 Americans in Fallujah last week, decribing them as 'Jews'.

that they are eight hours ahead of me, so it's about 10:30 pm there. I worry about this Sunday, not only is it 411, but it's also easter and since we've declared their holy sites as fair game.

I've already cancelled my plans for tomorrow, but I may just skip out on Easter services as well. Where are the alerts and the color coded warnings? I guess they need actionable intelligence in order to sound the alarm.

More than likely I'll still go to church on Sunday, but I will be staying away from the malls this weekend. I think the odds are that I will be completely safe whether I am at home or out and about, but it's my decision to make.

now my thing is since condi just told us they are all imcompetent and we sit in our safe house in the u.s. i am wondering if maybe someone ought to let our government know these fliers are being distributed. my first assumption was well surely the military have received wind of it, now after condi, i think maybe not.
