Uh oh, media now starting to do stories on dead soldiers
I saw a front page picture on NY Times web site the other day of a marine carrying a body bag of a soldier with a pained expression on his face, and now on CNN they are doing a story on some of the dead soldiers families grief.

This is bad news for Bush, it seems his gag order on these kinds of stories is no longer being followed by big media.

Watch his ratings plunge even further if this keeps up.

1. well, there are possibly two things good that could come out of this war
1. Saddam gone
2. Bush gone

But was it worth all the lives?

2. Here's how to contact the media and urge them to do MORE:
At the risk of angering somebody/somebodies, here's the media list compiled through the work of several DUers. I'll try not to post it so often, I KNOW it takes up a lot of space. But we've got newbies here every day, and people who post regularly and irregularly, and I know how often I myself miss stuff that I've seen posted, and wish I could find again...

It's just important. REALLY important.

(FROM DUer bigtree – 3/2004) Use the responses to strike back at the attacks, here and elsewhere.

4. In military towns
I live outside of Ft. Bragg, NC where thousands of 82nd Airborne and Special Forces soldiers have been deployed. Our local paper runs obits of KIAs on the front page. Also, they cover antiwar activities of local military families and Gold Star Parents.
