Like the story I heard on NPR, about a young man who'd lost his job as a consultant, but couldn't support his wife and infant child on the minimum wage jobs he could get, so he joined the Army.

He was shot and killed two days after he got to Iraq.

Show them what "things are going well" means on the ground over there. Let them think about the dead children, and about the soldiers who will come home - even if they make it whole in body - forever scarred in heart by what their leaders commanded them to do.

I want to (but will not) print out all of the photos
of the dead and maimed for life and the dead Iraqis and
tape them on the fence.

I don't know about him but she does not read a newspaper
or watch the news on tv. I doubt she reads news
on the net.

She is gloriously ignorant and happily, merrily spending
all the tax cut monies.

I've given up talking to her about this mess as she

14. In Texas I work with a group who all supported the war

yet I am the only veteran and also the only one sending care packages to the troops. There's a good illustration of the differences between republicans and Democrats right there.
